Bigg Boss 5 begins its initial days with the girls in the washroom discussing about the future possibilities of nominations. Shakti Kapoor tries his hands in mingling with everyone. He makes Shradha Sharma believe that she will stay more in the house since she is a genuine person. Laxmi talks of the secret with Shradha Sharma of her look of real feminism. She also explains to Shradha and Mandeep that she leads a feminine life with normal boyfriends like every girl.
Bigg Boss calls Shakti Kapoor to confession room and asks him name the four names of random contestants for the next nomination. Shakti after coming out of the confession room announces to everyone that the nomination process has been started.

The members after gathering to the dining room and starts to discuss about the allotment of the tasks which each person has to do.
The next was the discussion about the husband of Nihita, Charles Sobhraj. Nihita states all the points to prove her husband innocent, while Pooja Bedi tells about the opposite and the reason for him to be guilty. Nihita tries to prove that all the past accuses were actually wrong and there was not even a single FIR for the same. After saying about her husband, Nihita gets sentimental and expresses that she can do anything for him and its her right decision.
Shakti Kapoor was again called into the confession room and asks for the names of the member for nominations. Gulabo Sapera for her inability to adjust in the environment, Nihita Biswas to get sentimental in the initial days of stay, Laxmi Narayan for her dominating nature and Pooja Mishra for suspicious attitude, were the names which he stated for the nomination.
Bigg Boss announces their names to the members of the house and with that gossips started among everyone.
